I hear stories all the time about people watching people on the stage and thinking "I want to be that person"...

I can honestly say I was one of those people. I have always wanted to be a singer, a painter, an artist,a dancer..all things that I have worked very hard at and still enjoy immensely.

One thing that came as a great surprise to me tho was my appreciation for photography. Even as a small child, I would pore over magazines and trace the lines of the faces, in awe of the beauty that was captured. Sometimes it was a photo of a child on a farm, or as simple as the way the light fell on trees and a power line as you watched the road in the photo fade into the distance.

Its the thing that draws me again and again back to photography. I love the quirky little look on little ones faces, to catch you laughing  or so drawn in by the eyes of your loved one that you don't notice me anymore. Im am so honored every time the phone rings and someone says, " Will you do our photos for us?"
